Governed programme — Eco Restoration

Restoration Programme

Buktika's step-by-step restoration track, RP1 through RP7 — the programme governed by the Eco Restoration channel.

What the Restoration Programme is

The governed programme inside Buktika's Eco Restoration channel.

What it is

The Restoration Programme is Buktika's works-led restoration track for land that needs active help, moving through seven stages from RP1 to RP7. It is distinct from the Sielsgrond (Conservation) channel, which recognises land rather than restoring it.

What it is not

The Restoration Programme is not the same thing as "Eco Restoration": Eco Restoration is the channel; the Restoration Programme is the specific programme that channel governs. Reaching a later stage does not by itself create a land right — a servitude attaches only at the final stage, RP7, and only to the specific works areas.

Programme stages, RP1–RP7

These descriptions help explain the type of work at each stage. They do not authorise work by themselves — actual work is authorised only through a signed Task Order.

RP1 — Stewardship Secure

Rest a specific block for 90 days. No construction.

RP2 — Outcomes Sprint

Measurement and planning only.

RP3 — Risk Mitigation

Small early intervention.

RP4 — Plant and Protect

Expanded restoration works.

RP5 — Water and Wetland

Slow, spread, and soak.

RP6 — Riparian Edge

Hold banks and protect roots.

RP7 — Restoration Build

Full-scale engineered restoration. A servitude attaches only here, and only to the specific works areas.

Where this comes from

The Restoration Programme (RP) is a term Buktika's D1 Part 1 legal document defines directly. The stage descriptions above come from D1 Part 2, which states plainly that they are explanatory only and do not themselves authorise work. "Eco Restoration," the channel this page nests the Restoration Programme under, is Buktika's own approved public architecture, not itself a D1-defined term.

This page is a plain-language public explanation. D1 Part 1 and D1 Part 2 remain the sole authoritative source for the Restoration Programme's legal meaning.
