We fund and verify ecological restoration and social upliftment. Every payment links to accepted proof.
Do you sell carbon credits or offsets?
No. We don't sell offsets. We fund real works and people outcomes on accepted evidence.
How is this different from the carbon market?
We focus on accepted works and seven-year records, not tonnes or uncertain baselines.
Who is this for?
Companies seeking verifiable restoration funding, farmers wanting to restore land with clear payments, and communities ready to build skills and local work through MamaDEX.
Money & HEKTO
What is HEKTO?
Our settlement unit. One HEKTO equals one hundred universal US dollars. Traceable releases only.
How does the secure project fund work?
Buyer loads the fund. It feeds dedicated wallets. Releases move only when gates are accepted.
How does money flow to projects?
Funds move through dedicated wallets with clear purposes: Works, Professional Services, Stewardship, and Retention. Each release requires acceptance first.
Independent acceptance officers verify gates. If a gate fails, the payment doesn't move.
How do you ensure quality?
Independent acceptance officers verify every gate. Evidence is kept for seven years. A retention wallet holds back a small amount until the defects period ends, ensuring standards stay high.
MamaDEX
What is MamaDEX?
Our community upliftment pillar: Centres, Keepers, Fellows, classrooms, and weekly evidence.
How is MamaDEX funded?
Directly from the secure project fund to its own wallets. Separate from any carbon market.
How do I become a Mama or host a Centre?
Apply. We look for a safe space, a basic team, and a community ready to learn and work.
Eco Guild / For Farmers
When do I see the first cash?
As soon as the first accepted item lands. For stewardship, monthly LASF starts after light acceptance. For works like fencing or planting, payment lands when the acceptance officer signs the gate.
What is LASF in simple words?
The Landowner Access and Stewardship Fee pays you a small monthly amount per hectare of mapped Restoration Land to keep those zones safe and to help with your light costs. Animals stay in your Licensed Farming Areas.
Can I still graze and hunt on my farm?
Yes. Lawful hunting, grazing, and normal farming stay inside your Licensed Farming Areas. Restoration Land zones are kept free of grazing and hunting so the work can hold.
Who owns the things we build?
You do. Works are permanent assets that stay on your land.
What if a storm damages units before acceptance?
Fix quickly, take photos, and resubmit. MamaDEX Fellows are funded to help with quick repairs after rain.
What is my workload each week?
Short and steady. Keep a simple day log, take fixed-point photos, and submit clean packs within seven days of finishing each item. After big rain, check within seventy-two hours.
Can I start small?
Yes. Start with one pilot block you can watch closely. When the first gates pass, repeat the same recipe on the next block.
What happens if I sell the farm?
The assets stay on the land. Your payee wallet keeps what has already been accepted and released. Future releases follow the new owner if they keep the evidence and care going.
Where do platform fees sit?
The buyer covers the platform fee before wallets load. Your accepted Works and stewardship amounts are not reduced by it.
What keeps the money safe and fair?
Evidence first, clear acceptance gates, six wallets with set purposes, cap and taper rules in the Regional journey, and published reconciliations.
Do I need expensive ISO facilities?
No. Restoration uses simple environmental and quality rules: a clear map, fixed photo points, a short day log, safe work practices, and an acceptance sheet. No gold-plating.
Where do I go if I get stuck?
Call your Field Steward. The Eco Guild helps with neighbours and buying. MamaDEX lines up Fellows. The EduTower helps with tests and training. The platform support team helps with the app and your payee wallet.
What if my land has stayed whole, not degraded — can I still get paid?
Yes. That's the Sielsgrond Programme. You declare how long your land has stayed undisturbed — its Ecological Age — and Buktika verifies it against BESCO field evidence. The older and more continuously undisturbed your land is, the more it counts toward your monthly Sielsgrond Recognition Payment. This is a different payment to LASF, for land that was never degraded in the first place.
Can I be on both tracks — Restoration and Sielsgrond — on the same farm?
Yes, most farms are. Different hectares on your farm can run on different tracks at the same time. What you can't do is claim both for the same hectare in the same period — a hectare on Restoration can't also draw a Sielsgrond payment, and the reverse is true too. This keeps the two payments honest and prevents paying twice for the same land.
For Companies
What can companies safely claim?
Funding of verified restoration and social upliftment with accepted evidence and seven-year records. No "carbon neutral" claims.
How do I start as a buyer?
Tell us your goals and compliance needs. We match polygons and Centres, set budgets and gates, and open your fund.
How does this support reporting?
Acceptance packs and season summaries with seven-year retention support modern disclosure requirements.
Privacy & Terms
How do you handle privacy?
Consent IDs on photos, controlled access to evidence, seven-year retention, and strict personal-info rules.
Can I see budgets and payments?
Yes. Budgets are set up front. Releases are tied to named acceptance gates and shown in summaries.
