THE BEGINNING

The learner has already spent time in the nursery beside her centre. She can prepare trays, recognise healthy seedlings and explain why some young plants need more time before they are moved. She wants to build enough practical capability to manage a small nursery route of her own.

The next learning pathway would give her guided practice, defined tasks and an educator who can observe what she does. The barrier is not a lack of purpose. She cannot afford the learning period, the required materials and the travel needed to attend consistently.

The purpose is hers. The sponsorship may fund access to the route, but it cannot perform the learning for her.

MamaDEX records the learner's purpose and the access barrier without turning her circumstances into a public story. The question is then whether a governed sponsored-learning route can be defined around the work she wants to undertake.

The learner begins with a real purpose and a defined practical route, not with a sponsor's preferred outcome.
THE ARRANGEMENT

Before any funding is accepted, the learner, MamaDEX, the educator and the Viridian must understand the same route. They agree who the sponsorship is meant to serve, what learning will be provided, how consent and privacy will be protected and what evidence may be shared after delivery.

  1. A defined sponsorship purpose

The arrangement begins with the learning purpose and the access barrier the sponsorship is intended to address.

  2. An eligible learner or cohort is identified through MamaDEX

MamaDEX confirms that the proposed learner or cohort fits the defined route and receives the support needed to consider it.

  3. Consent, privacy and safeguarding are resolved

Participation, evidence use and any permitted public material are considered separately. No consent is assumed merely because funding is offered.

  4. The EduTower pathway is defined

The educator states what will be taught, practised and assessed, together with the delivery period and the criteria appropriate to the route.

  5. Teaching, practice and assessment take place

The learner attends, practises and performs the defined work while the educator provides guidance and observes the result.

  6. Records and outcome evidence are assembled

The record distinguishes access funded, teaching delivered, work completed and recognition actually earned.

  7. A governed Evidence Pack is produced

The Evidence Pack contains only the permitted records, claims and public derivatives approved for the arrangement.

  8. The Viridian receives only the permitted evidence and reporting

The Viridian receives the agreed delivery and outcome reporting without access to private learner records or control over assessment.

The sponsorship carries access through the route. It does not carry the learner through the work.

THE LEARNING

During the learning period, the educator works beside the learner as she prepares trays, selects material and judges which seedlings are ready to move. The sponsorship has placed the route within reach, but every practical decision still belongs to the learner.

As her judgement develops, prompts become fewer. She begins to identify weak roots, uneven growth and seedlings that need more time without waiting for the educator to point them out.

The learner practises, decides and corrects the work while the educator observes what she can now do.
THE TURNING POINT

She makes the next decision before the educator speaks

At the review table, the learner separates the seedlings that are ready from those that need more time. She explains the difference and shows where root condition, moisture and new growth shaped her decision.

The educator checks the work against the criteria agreed for the route. The result is recorded from what the learner did and explained, not from the fact that someone funded her access.

Access was funded. The judgement, work and recognition remain hers.

THE RECORD

The record states the level actually reached

  1. Participation

The learner took part in the defined learning activity.

  2. Completion

The learner completed the defined activity and its required work.

  3. Demonstrated competence

The learner performed the defined task to the stated criteria under observation.

  4. Verified practice

The learner's practice met the applicable verification requirements beyond a single unsupported claim.

A demonstration may support a governed demonstrated-competence record. It is not automatically accepted proof, and a formal qualification remains the responsibility of the authorised institution.

THE BOUNDARY

The Viridian funds a defined access route. The contribution does not purchase the learner's identity, private circumstances, gratitude, assessment result or public story.

The learner controls participation and permitted disclosure

Consent to learn, consent to use evidence and consent to publish material remain separate decisions. Private identity, contact and location information are not released merely because a route was funded.

The sponsor does not control the result

The Viridian does not select the assessment result, guarantee success or influence the recognition recorded by the educator or authorised institution.

The Evidence Pack stays within its boundary

The Evidence Pack records the permitted sponsorship scope, delivery and outcome evidence. It does not create unrestricted access to learner records or automatic acceptance of any downstream claim.

No direct sponsor payment, forced gratitude, hardship marketing or unrestricted public storytelling forms part of the route.
